The Call of Cthulhu

Horror. The script is based on H.P. Lovecraft's 1928 horror story. The story introduced the so-called 'Cthulhu Mythos' cycle of stories involving godlike monsters from outer space. The story includes references to that famous meme of horror fiction, Lovecraft's fictitious dreaded ancient book, the Necronomicon. The story inspired a young Stephen King to pursue a career in horror fiction.

The script repositions Lovecraft's story into the present day. A treatment is available. The script itself is under development. Inquiries from producers are welcome.
